AUGUSTA, MAINE -- Laura Benedict the owner of the Red Barn restaurant in Augusta talks to Joyce Caverly and her husband John Caverly of Winthrop. The Caverlys have been regular customers at the restaurant since the 1980's. Benedict said she struggled to keep the business afloat and personally battled with alcoholism. A few years ago she managed to turn her life and the business around and raised more than $2 million for charity.
