Vassalboro, ME — May 4, 2017 — Jobe, a Belgian malinois, trains in bite work with his handler, officer Lucas Shirland of Topsham PD (left) and Travis Frost, Hancock County deputy sheriff, in a bite suit. Six K-9 teams are working to be certified as police dogs and graduate in June from the training center at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro.
