GREENFIELD, MAINE -- Lynn Stark, 74, calls to the animals as she gives them fresh hay at Samsara Exotic Animal Refuge. Stark moved to Greenfield with her family in the early 1980's. She took in animals as her children brought them home over the years and eventually she started Samsara Exotic Animal Refuge. The state certified refuge takes in just about any animals from exotic pets to farm animals. However they are are always looking for funding for animal feed and volunteers to help take care of the many resident animals at the refuge.
