BANGOR, Maine -- 05/06/2017 - Students walk past the soul wall to remember those who took their own lives during the inaugural Steps for Souls: Suicide Awareness Walk at Bangor High School Saturday. The walk was sponsored in part by Bangor High School Student Council as well as many other local businesses. The event appears to be the first time students, rather than teachers and administrators, have organized a community event aimed at educating people about suicide prevention. Ashley L. Conti | BDN
