BANGOR, MAINE -- 06/10/2016 - Hallee Sorenson (left) tells her mother, Allyson Seel-Sorenson, a story in their home in Bangor Friday. Last year Sorenson invited all of her friends to her 18th birthday birthday, but no one showed up. Her mother took a photo of Hallee eating her birthday cake alone to send to family who were wondering how the party was going.
