UNITY, MAINE -- 05/30/2017 -- Stock flowers blooming in a high tunnel at the MOFGA Common Ground Fairground. Carole Mapes is the current Farmer-in-Residence at the MOFGA Common Ground Fairground. She will grow about 50 varieties flowers this season. The resident program lasts two years and she has access to MOFGA's agricultural resource base to establish her own business.
