ORONO, MAINE -- 07/13/2017 -- Marcella Sorg talks about some of the methods used to record data about bones. Sorg is a forensic anthropologist and a research professor with the Department of Anthropology at the University of Maine. When investigatiors find unidentified bones, it is Sorg's expertese to determine if they are human remains and she is often able to draw conclusions such as the height, sex, and even the ethnic origin and approximate age of deceased person.
