FREEPORT, MAINE -- 1/30/2017 -- Nic Ledoux recently shows off a very short piece of firewood that can fit inside the small stove in his and his wife's tiny home in Freeport. Ledoux said he has to cut and split the wood very small, but they anticipate it will take less than a cord of wood to heat the 200 square feet of living space through the winter.
