ISLESFORD, MAINE -- 09/19/2014 -- Ashley Bryan, a New York City native artist, shows off one of the many hand puppets he has made from found objects at his home in Islesford on Little Cranberry Island recently. Bryan, who began his career before storming the beaches of Normandy in World War II, got the first retrospective exhibit of his career in Maine at the age of 91. Ashley L. Conti | BDN
