BANGOR, MAINE -- 04/05/2017 -- People look at an exhibit at the Bangor Public Library Wednesday afternoon. The Smithsonian Institution's traveling exhibition titled: Exploring human origins: What does it mean to be human? will be on display at the library until the 28th of April. Linda Oliver the Head of Reference at the library said that the exhibit started a 19 library journey through the country in 2015 ending it's tour in Bangor. The numerous display panels, digital interactive displays and other hands-on displays talk about the major milestones of the evolutionary journey of becoming human. Oliver said that a set of 3D printed replicas of fossilized skulls will remain a the library and will be available for schools and other public libraries to borrow.
