BANGOR, MAINE -- 04/11/2017 -- Peter Lataille surfs a wave on the Kenduskeag Stream in Bangor Tuesday morning. Lataille and his friend Adam Swett were taking advantage of the unusually high water level of the stream that was boosted by the sudden snow melt. The Kendskeag Stream canoe race will be held this weekend. If the water level remains high, it should provide a good level of challenge to many participants.
