ROCKLAND, MAINE -- 8/6/2001 -- Thousands of spectators line the streets to cheer as the fifth annual Maine Lobster Festival parade passes by on Aug. 6, 2001, in Rockland.


The parade featured marching bands, antique cars, clowns and floats representing organizations and businesses from across the state. A few politicians also worked the route from Rockland District High School to the Maine Lobster Festival Grounds. (NEWS Photo by Walter Griffin)
