Christmas through the years

Maryon Frederick, six, is wide-eyed at what Santa left in the stockings Christmas morning. Five cocker spaniels, all in a row. Sweet Stuff is on the left. The others, in the usual order, are Hugo, Sugar Babe, Sandy and Lumpy. Sharing the puppies will be Maryon's three brothers and a sister, Jimmy, 14; Steve, 11; Martha, 10; and Philip, nine. They're children of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Frederick of Hudson Road, Bangor. The color camera of NEWS photographer Carroll F. Hall caught this Christmas moment.
